DCA Tape offers the black Aluminum Mylar Tape utilize a polyester film laminated with a thin aluminum layer and coated with acrylic adhesive. The glossy black surface offers complete light blocking and opacity. It also provides excellent EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness across a broad frequency range. The thin yet strong aluminum backing allows confomability for curved surfaces. The durable acrylic adhesive bonds firmly even in high heat environments.

Our black Mylar tapes are UL-rated for flame retardance. Typical applications include insulating heat pipes/ducts, wrapping hoses/cables, sealing enclosures, optical blackout, stage lighting controls etc.
