The 3M 425 aluminum foil tape consists of a high purity aluminum foil backing and thermally conductive acrylic adhesive. With over 93% reflectivity, it provides exceptional heat reflection for HVAC systems and heat pipelines. This UL-listed foil tape effectively seals and insulates ductwork while creating a moisture and vapor barrier. It conforms well to seal seams, connections and fittings in air conditioning and ventilation ducts. Resistant to UV and temperature extremes, the 3M 425 withstands harsh indoor and outdoor conditions. Easy tear and quick stick application enables reliable HVAC sealing to improve energy efficiency.
